BREAKING NEWS

Big Machine Racing signs Will Rodgers to drive the #48 Chevrolet for the 2027 NASCAR O’Reilly Autoparts Series season.

MIAMI, FL – November 7, 2026 – After a limited three race partnership in Phoenix, Talladega, and this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Will Rodgers will move to full time next year for Big Machine Racing.

"Will brings experience, talent, speed, and focus that are undeniable to Big Machine Racing,” says owner Scott Borchetta. "His character and work ethic align perfectly with us. We have tremendous confidence in his future and believe he is the right driver to lead this team into its next chapter."

“I’m thrilled to be joining Big Machine Racing full-time in 2027,” says Rodgers. "It’s been a long time coming and a tremendous amount of work to develop the opportunity to run a full season in the O’Reilly Series, and I can’t thank Scott Borchetta and Patrick Donahue enough for trusting me to represent the #48 car.”

"This, of course, wouldn’t be possible without an amazing group of people behind me, including my team at the Will Rodgers Liver Health Foundation and our core partners, Boehringer Ingelheim and Echosens,” continues Will. “I’m looking forward to representing BMR, the #48 car and our campaign, Driving Good Health.”

Driving Good Health is a liver-health education and awareness program created by the Will Rodgers Liver Health Foundation in partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim. The initiative aims to increase awareness of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), improve access to education and help connect people with appropriate health resources. MASLD happens when excess fat builds up in the liver; its more serious form, MASH, adds inflammation and damage. MASLD affects about 24% of U.S. adults.

Through fan experiences and community activations, Driving Good Health encourages people to learn about their liver health and understand their risk factors for liver disease. Learn more here: Home — Will Rodgers Liver Health Foundation
