Race 31 of 33: Kansas Lottery 300

Track: Kansas Speedway

Buford’s Finish: 38th

Jade Buford and the Big Machine Racing team’s late-season tough luck continued in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Kansas Speedway. Buford was moving through the field after starting the race from the 35th position when the No. 26 made contact with Buford on lap 28, sending his No. 48 Camaro hard into the wall. There was too much damage for Buford to continue and he was relegated to a 38th-place finish.

Jade Buford, driver of the No. 48 Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Chevrolet:

“We had really good speed in our Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers Camaro. It’s unfortunate we didn’t get the opportunity to really see what we could do. This team is working so hard, we just need things to start going our way again. There are still two more races to go and we’re going to make the most of them.”
